Butte Historic Garden Transformation
This historic home in Butte, Montana, was transformed by the landscape architects at SCJ Studio from a weedy lawn to a drought-tolerant oasis for the homeowners. Awarded "Best Softscape" by the Montana Landscape and Nursery Association, the MNLA recognized the stellar planting design, mixing perennials and ornamental grasses for texture and movement in the breeze. Muted colors and timeless hardscape materials allow the historic home to be highlighted and respected.
