Butte-Silver Bow County Parks, Recreation Open Space and Trails (PROST) Plan
Renovated parks are coming to Butte, MT, as SCJ recently completed the Butte-Silver Bow Parks Master Plan, now part of the County's Comprehensive Plan. This visionary plan, shaped by extensive public outreach and collaboration, defines design criteria, updates demographic data, and assesses community needs to identify areas for improvement. Prioritizing climate-resilient design, the plan includes exciting concepts for renovating the Original Mine Yard Amphitheater, a covered ice rink at Clark Park, new trails, and a dog park. The plan sets a dynamic 6-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and a 20-year project list, transforming Butte's parks into vibrant, sustainable spaces for community engagement and active living.
